He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Clay Thorpe and Jessie Taylor Thorpe; and his brother Robert Thorpe. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Sue Thorpe; his brother Richard J. Thorpe; his children, Debra Clemetsen (Nels), William Thorpe (Kim), David Thorpe (Holly) and Linda Varga (Chris); his grandchildren, Corinne Logan (Stephen), Jordan Varga, Jessica Thorpe, Benjamin Thorpe, Casey Clemetsen, Cameron Thorpe, Jennifer Thorpe and Joshua Thorpe; and his great grandchildren, Kaylen, Connor and Emma Logan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Evangelical Presbyterian Church (5 Concord Ave, Havertown, PA 19083). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
