He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Noone and Thomas McGovern; his wife Gladys McGovern; his daughter Kathleen; and his sisters, Mary Hamill and Ann McGovern I. H. M..

He is survived by: his children, Sheila and Patrick (Gwyn); and his brother Francis McGovern (Helen Eck). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.

All attendees are to wear face masks and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
