It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert McCafferty of Havertown, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCafferty and Florence McCafferty; and his siblings, Mary Pat, Jack and Therese.

He is survived by: his friend Barbara E. McCafferty; his children, Robert McCafferty Jr. (Colleen), Colleen Poiesz (Thomas), James McCafferty (Alpena), Patricia Ann Holtzman (Jay), Ann Marie Muto (Robert), David McCafferty (Shelley), Sharon DePaul (Vincent) and Barbara Rossino; and his brother Jerry McCafferty.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Robert's memory to the Little Sisters of the Poor 5300 Chester Avenue, Philadelphia PA, 19143.
