He was predeceased by: his father Richard Dougherty. He is survived by: his mother Betty Dougherty (Long); his wife Catherine Dougherty (Cummings); and his children, Shawna (Steve Juisti), Richard (Ashley Dougherty) and Michael (Christin Dougherty). He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren.
