McElhiney of Havertown, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael J. Carr and Emily L. Carr; and her sister Eileen Rock. She is survived by: her husband James McElhiney, Sr.; her children, James McElhiney, Jr. (Laurie), Sue McElhiney (Rinat), Ed McElhiney and Tim McElhiney (Kerry); her grandchildren, Bryce, Kylee, Brett, Peyton, Keira and Russell; and her brother Bob Carr. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Donohue Funeral Home - Upper Darby (8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Annunciation BVM Church (401 Brookline Blvd, Havertown, PA 19083). A burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at the Ss Peter & Paul Cemetery (1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
