He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rita Ann D'Alecy of Staten Island, NY.; his parent Louis A. Rongione; his uncle Nick'; his cousin Nick'; his brother Stephen (Kathy); his children, Nicholas (Constance), Gina (Joe) and Vincent (Skye); and his grandchildren, Eamonn, Mab, Joseph, Nicandro, Seraphina and Malcolm. He was also cherished by his wife, his children and their spouses, his grandchildren.

“I am so sorry to hear about Professor Rongione’s passing. He was my Corporate Responsibility and Ethics prof at Penn in 2000. He was my favourite teacher during my time there and I have thought of him often over the years. No other professor pushed me to think the way he did, and I always enjoyed his class and sense of humour. My condolences to his family and loved ones.”
