He was predeceased by: his son Richard (Susan); and his parents, Anna Franchi and Emedio Franchi. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Michael R. (Patricia) and Karen Dougherty (Thomas); his grandchildren, Brianne, Michael, Brian, Bridget, Delia, Samantha, Kaitlin, Mark, Nicholas and Jeana; and his great grandchildren, Gianluca and Gaetan.
