He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret E. Wise and Malcolm R. Wise; his wife Marlise; his siblings, David A. Wise and Helen G. Wylie (late Robert); and his niece Lisa Wylie.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen M. Paoli (John); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Wise and Angela Schmieder (Werner). He is also survived by his 4 nieces, 4 nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1141 West Chester Pike, Havertown, PA 19083). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens (352 S Gulph Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406).
A member for 32 years, (he hiked a total of nearly 217 thousand miles – 5th overall in the current club), contributions in Malcolm's memory may be made to the Chester County Trail Club, PO Box 2056, West Chester, PA 19380.
