He was predeceased by: his parents, Ma Luisa Mendez Hidalgo and Macario Hidalgo, Sr.; and his sisters, Pelagia Pastora Hidalgo Mateo and Dolores Hidalgo Fabro. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his daughter Melanie Hidalgo-Britt; his son-in-law Jonathan Britt; and his granddaughter Nova. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grand nephews.
