She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Joseph "Hugo" Carafa; her parents, Carmella DiPietrantonio and Carmen DiPietrantonio; her children, Rosalie Carafa, Francis Carafa and Joanne C. McCarthy (Mike); her siblings, Daniel DiPietrantonio (Georgeanna), Angela Mancuso (late Philip) and Philomena DiPietrantonio (late Nunzio); and her grandchildren, Kristie Bullock, Brian Mazer (Rachel), Aaron Mazer (Beth), Joseph Carafa (Amy), Maryanne Sholl (Andy), Francine Hutchinson (Keenon), Ashley Rambo (Paul) and Ali McCarthy. She was also cherished by eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
