Jean M. Cook Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean M. Cook (Havertown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Jean Marie Cook (Dempsey); her parents, Michael Dempsey and Catherine Rose Dempsey (Green); her husband Edward J.; her son Michael E.; her grandson Michael J. Murray; and her siblings, Alice Cunningham and James Dempsey.
She is survived by: her children, William Cook (Nancy), Edward Cook (Diane), Philip Cook (Ann Marie), Jean Murray (Timothy) and James Cook; her daughter-in-law Patricia Cook; and her siblings, Catherine Rose Brady and Michael Dempsey (Suzanne). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
In accordance with CDC guidelines all attendees will be asked to wear masks, practice social distancing, and restrain from physical contact.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jean may be made to ANNA'S PLACE, a Franciscan Hospitality Center, in Chester, PA. or designated for MICHAEL'S TOY CLOSET (maintained by Anna's Place) which is a special room which offers toys to children (many of whom are homeless) on their birthday or special times throughout the year .
