He is survived by: his wife Kathleen McCaffrey; his children, Erin McCaffrey, James Joseph McCaffrey, III (Allyson) and Brian John "BJ" McCaffrey; his grandchildren, Alana Nell and Eamonn Sage; and his siblings, Joan Falcone (late Nick), Mary James McCaffrey, I, H. M. and Bernadette Salopek (Joseph). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
