She was predeceased by: her husband James E. "Al" Aruffo; her children, James F. Aruffo and Helena Squillace (Robert); and her sister Josephine Schina. She is survived by: her children, Frank J. Aruffo (Susan) and Mary Aruffo Thomas (William); her grandchildren, Gregg Aruffo, Ashley Aruffo (Mike Rauta) and Robert James Squillace; and her siblings, Sylvia Fratto, Gaetano "Beau" Ciarrocchi, Anna Manfredi, John Ciarrocchi and Rita Genniro.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
