It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George F. Light of Havertown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Eileen Friel (Frank); and his parents, George A. Light and Teresa Light. He is survived by: his wife Barbara E. Light; his daughters, Barbara A. Steele (Renny), Jenn Light Lyons (John), Julia Light Fischer (Christopher) and Missy Dougherty (Brendan); his grandchildren, Caitlin Fisher (Robert), Christopher Lyons, Kelly Lyons, Matthew Fischer, Sarah Fischer, Brendan Dougherty and Molly Dougherty; and his sisters, Betty Beisser (Harry), Susan Bedrosian (Harry) and Jane Regan (Robert).
In lieu of flowers the family is kindly requesting donations in George's name to either The Burrs at the Beach Fund or the George and Barbara Light Scholarship Fund.
