She was predeceased by: her mother Victoria Boutanos. She is survived by: her husband Robert Simonson; her sons, Daniel, Nicholas, Dylan, Adam and Benjamin; her father Elias Boutanos (Leo); and her siblings, Mary Somers (Russell Somers) and Leo Boutanos (Lynn). She is also survived by cousins, aunts, and uncles.
In lieu of flowers and recognizing Evette's love of her undergraduate alma mater and her parents, the family request donations in Evette's memory to the Penn State Dance Marathon benefitting the Four Diamonds Fund for pediatric cancer (thon.org) or Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org).
