He is survived by: his children, Don Paul Shannon (Aleph), Maryanne Fisher (Dennis), Kathleen Cellucci (Robert), Thomas Shannon (Jean), Patricia Shannon, Teresa Hagenbach (Thomas) and Eileen Wert (Michael); his grandchildren, Damien (Michele), Rebecca (Pete), Maureen (Jim), Megan (Chris), Neal (Jen), Brett (Jess), Dan (Jenna), Michelle (Bern), Keith (Michele), Mary, Molly (Trevor), Monica (Chris), Patrick (Sarah), Doug, Tim and Amy; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Henry, Archie, Ian, Kiera, Emma, Kitt, Mary Jo, Miles, Lincoln, Jack, Elizabeth, Mabel and Baby McLaughlin; and his sister Alice S. Carroll. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
