He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick "Hector" McDonald and Mary Ellen McDonald; and his significant other Theresa McDonald. He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Raech (John) and Joanne McDonald; his grandchildren, Lauren Spicer (Brett), Jordan Raech (Tim) and Jack Raech; his great grandchildren, Juliette, Luke and Connor Spicer; and his caregiver Brian.
