He was predeceased by: his brother Gerard (Ady); and his parents, Gerard McGowan and Catherine McGowan. He is survived by: his children, Cortney, Catherine (Melissa) and Christopher (Savannah); his grandchildren, Jaxon, Aria, Lily, Charlotte and Cole; and his siblings, Regina (Jack), Marie and Dennis (Maureen).
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Stretch Funeral Home (236 E Eagle Rd, Havertown, PA 19083). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Denis Church (2401 St Denis Ln, Havertown, PA 19083). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (199 Matsonford Rd, Conshohocken, PA 19428).
