He was predeceased by: his parents, George O'Connell and Sarah Maher O'Connell; and his sister Barbara McCloskey (late Leo). He is survived by: his wife Frances Tryson O'Connell; his children, Maureen O'Connell, Meg Pensabene (Joe), Dan O'Connell and Eileen O'Connell; his sister Mary Lou Newby (late John); and his stepson Michael Stoughton (Jennifer). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Church (2400 N Providence Rd, Media, PA 19063). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Peter and Paul Cemetery (1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
