He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Thayer and Esther Thayer (Hartman); and his sister Mary Jane Bright. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Thayer (O'Neill); his son Brett R. Thayer (Karen) of Bechtelsville; his stepson David Thayer of Hatfield; and his granddaughter Kelsey Thayer of Bechtelsville.
