He is survived by: his spouse Krishna Palit (Chowdhury); and his children, Sanchita Mazumder (Debashish) of Holmdel, NJ, Sangeeta Palit of Hatfield and Anik Palit (Ankita Patel) of Claymont, DE. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.
