It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Ann Sondey of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, born in Passaic, New Jersey, who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Sondey; her parents, Theodore Swiatek and Genevieve Swiatek (Stamper); and her daughter Paula Sondey. She is survived by: her children, Scott Michael Sondey of Hatfield and Dawn Ann Boggs (late Sheldon) of Quakertown; her granddaughters, Laura Hughes (Dave) of Hatfield and Rebecca Martinez (Roberto) of Colorado Springs, CO; her great grandchild Tullia Hughes; and her sisters, Ruth Sumnick of Evesham, NJ and Patricia Swiatek of Montville, NJ..
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church (1601 Derstine Rd, Hatfield, PA 19440). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Dorothy's memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, PO Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
