It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delia M. Smith of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 4, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Ellwood Smith; her parents, William Deeny and Charlotte Deeny; her children, David Smith and Edna Evangelisto; and her siblings, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Lois and William.
She is survived by: her children, Dolores Sharp (Wayne) of Souderton, Ellwood Smith, Jr. (Donna) of Hatfield and Deborah A. Dougherty (James) of Hatfield; her brother Daniel Deeny of Lansdale; her children-in-law, James Evangelisto, Sr. of Lansdale and Karen Smith of Lansdale; and her pet Betty. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
