He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Heck (Schlacter) and Paul E. Heck Jr.; his son Benjamin Heck of Lansdale; his sister Beverley Burger (John) of Alburtis; his former wife Hope Heck of Lansdale; his sister-in-law Heidi Dunn of Havertown; his close friend Marla Sweeney of Cleveland, OH; his niece Caroline; and his nephews, Nate and Spencer.

“When I was first drawn to WOF as a volunteer more than 6 years ago, Brian was the first to welcome me into the DVHAA fold. It was during my first few “shadow” tour guide exposures that I learned Brian was, in fact, the voice of reason and a diamond in the rough as a friend, a confidant, a historian, a funny guy, and a trusted manager, I believe it will be an almost insurmountable task to replace this gem of a professional and loyal gentleman. They broke the mold with Brian’s passing. God Bless”
