She was predeceased by: her parents, William Righter and Edna Righter; her siblings, Edna Boyd, Jane Moyer, William Righter and David Righter; and her son-in-law Douglas Yates, III.
She is survived by: her husband Paul DeSantis; her children, Beverly Yates of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Kimberly Politakis (Jake) of Bradenton, FL, Robert Hoisington (Kathy) of New Castle, DE and John Hoisington (Cheryl Heuring) of Hatfield, PA; and her grandchildren, Chris, Luke, Sadie, Travis, Amy, Kelly and Gregory. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA in the name of "Romeo", her long-time golden retriever.
