Simmons Jr. of Hatboro, Pennsylvania, born in Abington, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Sr. Simmons and Gertrude Simmons; his wife Carol E.; his granddaughter Tina Giovinazzo; and his son-in-law Joseph Giovinazzo.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Giovinazzo, Sheryll Hopp, Walter Simmons III (Jacki) and Carol Simmons; his grandchildren, Vince, Malynda, Sirena, Walter and Courtney; and his great grandchildren, AJ, Lauren, Madison, Walter and Cade.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Decker-Givnish Funeral Home (216 York Rd, Warminster, PA 18974). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Decker/Givnish Funeral Home (216 York Rd, Warminster, PA 18974). A burial was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at the Sunset Memorial Park (333 County Line Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006).
