She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKenzie and Rosella McKenzie; her husband Claude McDonald; her daughter Carlen; and her granddaughter Petagaye.
She is survived by: her children, Monica Peterman (Jay), Deneene Graham (Rondell), Melvis McDonald (Sonia) and Donovan McDonald (Vickie); and her siblings, Edna Miles, Madge Allen, Ransford McKenzie and Elton McKenzie. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
