He was predeceased by: his father James Hartey; and his brother Daniel Hartey. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Hartey; his children, Joseph Hartey (Katie), Stephanie Koldhoff (Mike) and Matthew Hartey (Lisa); his grandchildren, Colin, Brigid, Shea, Rowan, Declan, Michael, Ryan, Grace, Brayden, Owen, Kevin and Cameron; and his mother Winifred Hartey. He is also survived by 7 siblings.
