It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Appel (Hatboro, Pennsylvania), born in Abington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 18, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Keim and Catherine Keim; her daughter Catherine Appel; and her grandson Bobby Warfield. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth J. Appel; her children, Sue Kavanagh, Ken, Jr (Kathleen), Teresa Warfield and Joe Appel (Bridgit); her grandchildren, John, Michael, Sean, Brian Kavanagh, Shannon Walker, Kevin, Kyle, Annelise and Ryley Appel; her great grandchildren, Daniel and Matthew Kavanagh; and her siblings, Catherine, Dorothy, Peggy and John.
