James Doherty Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2021 we had to say goodbye to James Doherty of Hatboro, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of James Doherty to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Doherty and Gertrude Doherty (Zoerner). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Doherty (McCreery); his children, Cheryl Beaver (Chuck), Sharon Bauz (Karl) and Jim Doherty (Donna); his grandchildren, Jennifer Brandis, Eryn Meenan, Michelle Difusco, Kelly Beaver, Brett Bauz, Karlee Gana, Amanda Didolkar, Ryan Doherty and Kaitlyn Doherty; and his sister Maryjane Singley. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private service for immediate family only will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Perkasie, on Thursday, February 18.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Horsham VFW Post 9788, 324 Sawmill Lane, Horsham, PA 19044 for the James R. Doherty Scholarship fund.
