She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul A. Swank and Margaret E. Swank; and her grandson Jacob. She is survived by: her husband Bruce W. Smith; her children, Bethany Mira (Mohamed "Ed"), Becky Kramer (David) and Andy (Frances); and her grandchildren, Mitsu, Keshar, Alex, Matthew and Lauren.
