He was predeceased by: his father Charles J. Trout, Jr.; and his siblings, Mary, Eileen, Millie, Etta, Bobby and Bud.

He is survived by: his daughter Cherise L. Wilkinson (Jamie); his brother Roy Trout; and his nephew Steve Bussinger.
