He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Canelakes and Louis Canelakes; his wife Patricia Canelakes (McGrady); and his siblings, John, Jim and Mary.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Alex Canelakes; and his nieces and nephews, Tina Jones (Mike) of Tampa, FL, Amanda Zajac (David) of Tampa, FL, Justin Jones (Kerrie) of Tampa, FL and Chris Canelakes of Texas.
