Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virginia Marie Ellis of Hartstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 80, on February 17, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Durkoske and Jane Durkoske (Randazzo); and her husband Gerald Ellis. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Ellis (Julie), Raymond Ellis (Dianna), Richard Ellis, Gerald Ellis Jr. (Erica) and James Ellis; her friend James Smith (Jeanine); and her brother Joe Durkoske. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mattera Funeral Home (188 E State St, Albion, PA 16401). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic Church (155 S 9th St, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316).
