He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester G. Best and Cicel E. Redick Best; and his wife Lois. He is survived by: his son-in-law Earl; his daughters, Vicky L. Shaw of Harrisville, Vera L. Allen (Earl) and Slippery Rock; his grandson Jason Allen (Nicole) of Slippery Rock; his great grandchild Ezra Allen; and also Evan Allen. He is also survived by 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
