With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Dewayne Mershimer of Harrisville, Pennsylvania, born in Grove City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Martin Mershimer and Ruth Campbell Mershimer; his son Michael Mershimer; his grandson Colin Clark; and his brother Clayton Mershimer.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Mershimer-Tooley (Joe) of Harrisville, Diane M. Clark of Butler, Jimmy Mershimer of Butler and Dewayne Mershimer (Sue) of West Sunbury; his grandchildren, Justin Mershimer, Mariah Clark, Sydnie Mershimer, Karlie Curran (Bly), Logan Mershimer, Liam, Olivia and Ella Tooley; and his siblings, Shirley Starcher of Butler, Jane Neely of Butler, Nancy Morgan (Paul) of Naples, Florida and Donald E. Mershimer (Shirley) of Slippery Rock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
