She is survived by: her husband James Alfred Short, Jr.; her children, Mary Dziedzic (Eugene) of Harrisonville, PA and Tom Short (Loretta) of Sharpsburg, MD; and her siblings, Mary Karavias of Halfway, MD, Carolyn Riordan of Halfway, MD, Hilda Jean Rockwell of Hagerstown, MD and Randy Rockwell of Alabama. She is also survived by 6 granddaughters; 9 great granddaughters and 3 great grandsons; 1 great great granddaughter.
