She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche B. Hess (Cromer) and Samuel R. Hess; her husband Grover "Tuck" Raymond Strait; and her brothers, Harry and Norman Hess.
She is survived by: her children, Judy E. and Gerald "Gerry"; and her grandchildren, Jeff, Rebecca, Gerre R. and Cherina A.. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
