With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas M. Carpenter (Harrison Valley, Pennsylvania), born in Ulysses, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 27, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Martin and Gertrude Mitchell Carpenter; his wife Marjorie L. Moshier Mesler; and his siblings, Leonard C. Carpenter, Robert I. Carpenter, Monroe Seldon Carpenter, Bonita Anne Carpenter and Neva Hardy Stockstill.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Bradley J. Mesler, Kenneth A. Mesler, Steven O. Mesler, Barry J. Mesler, Brody J. Mesler, Michael R. Mesler, Bonnie J. Mesler and Georgia Jean Mesler; and his siblings, Norma Cobb Nichols of Coudersport, Laura Nelson (Charles) of Genesee, Beverly J. Lehman of Ulysses and James Carpenter (Ruth) of Carbondale. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
