He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Painter and Elsie Painter (Stump); his son William M. Painter; and his siblings, Ben Painter, Bob Painter, Carl Painter, Warren Painter, Al Painter, Russell Painter, Dorothea Geiger and Lorraine Painter.
He is survived by: his son Eric Painter (Sheri); and his grandchildren, Ryan Painter, Chad Painter and Jenna Painter.
