He was predeceased by: his father John C. Reiter, Sr.; and his brother Charles Reiter. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Reiter (Matvey); his daughters, Kelly Donahue (James) and Michelle Rose; his grandchildren, Lucius Rose, Joseph, John, Magdalene, Cecilia, Patrick and Thomas Donahue; his siblings, Susan Reiter and Kevin Reiter (Margie); and his father-in-law Andrew Matvey (late Theresa).
