He was predeceased by: his son Anthony Belak. He is survived by: his wife Judy Grimes Belak; his son Gary Belak (Karen); his stepdaughter Sarah Ceccato (Joseph); his grandson Tyler Belak; his sister Patricia Downing (Edmond); and his mother-in-law Evelyn Grimes. He is also survived by animals, especially his beloved dogs.
