She was predeceased by: her father Harry Wonders; her former husband Donald Leroy Mitcheltree; her husband Charles H. Mertz; and her brothers, Thomas J. Wonders (late Mina), Randolph Wonders and Harry Wonders.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Dawn Read (late Robert); her grandchildren, Dawn E. Dormire (John), Robert A Read (Tina) and Erin Read; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob Dormire, Allen, Kane and Isabella D'Andries; and her sister-in-law Bronwen Wonders. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
