She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kampert and Josephine Kampert (Jaskulski); her husband James Johnston, Jr.; her brothers, Paul T. and Gregory Kampert; and her grandson Sean.

She is survived by: her daughters, Leanne Gilligan (James) of Greensburg and Debra Johnston of Greensburg; her stepchildren, Norman J. Johnston (Margot) of Naples, FL, Bonnie Detwiler (Bruce) of Bridgeville and Marlene Platz of Naples, FL; her grandchildren, Amber, Leslie, Ryan, Jerad, Justin and Matthew; her great grandchild James; and her niece Alena Frieban (Dan).
