In the sacred silence of farewell, William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that William's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Apple and Lena Apple (Wolfe); his wife Rhoda Silberman Apple; and his siblings, Morris Apple and Rae Veetal.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Apple of White Plains, NY and Jo Steinhart (Rob Steinhart) of Bryn Mawr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor can be made to Hadassah or Magen David Adom.
