With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Theodis Stevens (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), born in Saint Petersburg, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stevens and Carrie Williams Stevens; and his siblings, Freddie, Richard, Walter Stevens, Anita and Ethel Stevens.
He is survived by: his friend Harrisburg Chapter; his wife Thelma Stevens; his children, Theodis McIver, Theodore Butterfield (Nikki) and Valerie Stevens; and his stepchildren, Andre Lyles, Andrea Jones (Bobby), Eugenia Bentley (Robert) and Katrina Williamson (Barry). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wesley Union AME Zion Church (2219 N 5th St, Harrisburg, PA 17110). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
