She was predeceased by: her parents, Hyle G. Beasley and Janet Beasley (Benedict); her son Shamaar Sweet; and her brothers, Michael Beasley and Hyle Douglas Beasley.

She is survived by: her children, Awaan Gregory Sweet and Anisha Sweet; her siblings, Lorin D. Beasley, Tyrone J. Beasley, Sharon L. Beasley Franklin and Joelene C. Beasley Erby; and her granddaughters, Alaina, Gianna and Drea. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members and friends.
