She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward T. Brown of Washington and Bertha Brown of Washington; and her sister Charlotte Miller. She is survived by: her son Daniel Speaks; her grandson Eric N. Harrison; her siblings, Emma of Washington, Phyllis of Washington, Myrna Beasley, Edward Jr. of Washington, John of Washington and Vivian Dockens; her children, Charlene Speaks, Thomas Speaks, Jr., Yolanda Williams, Jon Kevin Speaks and Diana Speaks-Snead; and her sons-in-law, Vincent Williams and Clinton Snead. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
