Sherry Ann Waltz Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Ann Waltz (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Leabhart and Geraldine Leabhart (Everhart). She is survived by: her children, Slater Waltz (Danielle Shuffler), Erin Waltz and Valerie Hawkins (Jonathan Hawkins); and her grandchildren, Morgan Waltz, Allison Waltz, Ethan Waltz, Aiden Waltz, Lucas Tang Sing, Percy Tang Sing, Owen Hawkins and Lillian Hawkins.

In lieu of flowers, Sherry's children ask that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Pennsylvania in her name. 'It's the little things we do and say that means so much as we go our way.

“`To Sherry’s family, I met Sherry through the Harrisburg Study Club. The object of the Study Club, which was founded in 1914, is the pursuit of study as a means of mutual improvement and culture. Sherry was smart, funny, and kind. When Covid happened, she did a great deal to keep the Club going and encouraged members to keep in touch with each other. She was a good friend and she will be greatly missed. Carol Pennington”
