She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Young and Marguerite Young; and her sister Sylvia Young. She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Wiley, Leslie Proctor and Shannie Black; her sisters, Faith and Mayvon; her grandchildren, Aunashay, Aaron, Robert and Atlas; and her great grandchildren, Rosamia, Rosalind and Romain.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Jude's Children hospital in her name.
